WHY IS JESUS IMPORTANT, JESUS THE SAVIOR
BAPTISM - WHY GET BAPTIZED
IS THE HOLY SPIRIT IMPORTANT
BEING BORN AGAIN - GETTING BAPTIZED

Why does Jesus matter?

Friend, do not be mislead that Jesus was just a moral teacher or even just a prophet. Jesus is the savior and so much more.

Isaiah 9:6 read, "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Jesus is the Savior

John 4:25-26 reads, “The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”

Jesus says in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me."

Why do we need a savior?

Romans 6:23 reads, "For the
wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 3:23 reads, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

James 2:10 reads, “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point,
he has become guilty of all.”

Romans 5:18 reads, “So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men”

What about good deeds being enough?

Isaiah 64:6 reads, “For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment”

Titus 3:5 reads, “He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, Whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.”

Why does being virgin born matter?

Leviticus 22:21 reads, “And when a man offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord to fulfill a special vow, or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it.”

____________

Jesus is that perfect sacrifice for all sins.

John the Baptist refers to Jesus’ uniqueness in John 1:29 which reads, “The next day he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world”

I Corinthians 15:21 says, “For since by a man came death, by a man came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive.”

How Jesus changes lives.

1 Corinthian 6:9-11 reads, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of God."
